Dearly Devoted is a revamp of an old site of mine (Angels at Dawn), and went live in April of 2008. When this project first began it was strictly a Whedonverse fanart gallery - displaying icons and banner of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, and Firefly. Since than, Dearly Devoted has expanded to a variety of different fandoms and genres including movies, cartoons, and other television series outside of Whedon's creations.

The name comes from one of these new addictions - the showtime series, Dexter. More specifically it is taken from the second book of the Dexter series written by Jeff Lindsay. They are excellent reads if you're a fan and differ from the series towards the end of the first book. I really liked the second, and thought the name just fit so well for what this site is about.

All graphics are made using Adobe Photoshop CS2. Animated graphics are made in Adobe Photoshop CS2 and Adobe Image Ready. Layout made using Adobe GoLive CS2.

Special THANKS to my buddy, Jenn, for constantly giving me her opinions and support! *huggles*

Also known as Darth Rosenburg throughout the cyber world, I have been creating fanart graphics going on four years now. I was amazed at the beautiful art work that I began to see pop up around the web, and figured I might as well take a stab at it myself. Since then, I've been addicted.

I am an avid fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, and Firefly. I began my obession of BtVS way back to the Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie of '92. After that when I heard that they were turning it into a series I couldn't wait to see it. From the very first episode I was hooked and have been ever since. The series far outweighs the movie. Through watching BtVS, I was introduced to it's spinoff series, Angel, and later Whedon's other television creation, Firefly. Joss Whedon is a god...enough said.

Since all of Whedon's shows are over I've been finding new addictions which include Supernatural and Lost. However, I am eagerly awaiting Joss's return to television with rumors of a new series starring my favorite Whedon-actress, Eliza Dushku, called "Dollhouse".

Besides art, I also love to wirte. I'm a big fan of roleplaying and can often be found at Roleplay Central. Just because some of my favorite shows are over, doesn't mean I still can't get my daily doses in the 'verses I love.
